Sabres will begin season vs. Bruins

The Sabres announced that they will host the Boston Bruins in the 2018-19 home opener on Thursday, October 4 at 7 p.m.

The Bruins will be visiting the defending Stanley Cup champions the night prior, giving them a back-to-back set to open the season.

As the other teams released their home openers, the Sabres were not involved in any of them, meaning this will also be the season opener.

The full schedule will be released Thursday at 5 p.m. EST.
