Eichel gets All-Star nod

Jack Eichel leads the Sabres in points with 49 and has been selected to the All-Star game for the second straight season. He’ll be the only Buffalo Sabre there, at least for now.

Jeff Skinner is among the eight players eligible for that final spot in the Atlantic Division. The others are Patrice Bergeron, Dylan Larkin, Aleksander Barkov, Shea Weber, Mike Stone, Brayden Point, and Morgan Rielly.

Last Men In voting opens at 12 p.m. ET on Thursday and closes at 11:59 p.m. ET on Jan. 10.

I founded Buffalo Hockey Central in 2008 and have poured hours and hours into this site. Luckily, we have a great team of writers and designers who have helped keep this up and running despite a ton of out-of-pocket costs. We do this because we enjoy it, and we're desperate to see the Sabres win the Cup someday, but they have to make the playoffs first.
