Lancy Lysowksi of The Buffalo News reported that Johan Larsson and Zemgus Girgensons have received qualifying offers from the team. John Wawrow and Paul Hamilton have also confirmed the report.
More news upon my arrival in Vancouver: Johan Larsson has also received a qualifying offer from the #Sabres, joining fellow fourth-liner Zemgus Girgensons. https://t.co/zPNHNmE6bX

According to Hamilton, Larsson’s offer is $1.475 million, while Girgensons tender is $1.6 million. McCabe also got $1.6 million, Rodrigues received $726,500, Ullmark’s offer was $787,500 while Smith’s offer was $917,831.
If accepted, each player will return on a one-year deal.
Larsson has been nearly unnoticeable from a scoring standpoint on every night. He has yet to post at least 20 points in a season and is coming off a year in which he scored six goals and eight assists.
Larsson turns 27 in July and is nothing more than a fourth line forward, but the Sabres appear interested enough to send him an offer.
At age 25, Girgensons shows a little more potential, but not much else. In six seasons with Buffalo, Girgensons topped out at 30 points and that was back during the 2014-15 season.
We’ll wait and see if these two accept the offers or look to free agency.
