Larsson inks one-year deal

After re-signing Zemgus Girgensons earlier this week, the Sabres announced that they signed Johan Larsson to a one-year deal.

Larsson has never been a player to score a lot of points. His offensive upside is quite limited as he has reached 10 goals in a season just once. For a fourth-line player, though, Larsson isn’t a bad option and even improved during the 2018-19 season.

This upcoming season will be Larsson’s seventh with the Sabres. He played in one NHL game for the Minnesota Wild, the team which drafted him 56th overall in 2010.

I founded Buffalo Hockey Central in 2008 and have poured hours and hours into this site. Luckily, we have a great team of writers and designers who have helped keep this up and running despite a ton of out-of-pocket costs. We do this because we enjoy it, and we're desperate to see the Sabres win the Cup someday, but they have to make the playoffs first.
