The Buffalo Sabres have called up Victor Olofsson and Henri Jokiharju. The moves they made on Wednesday were to help them get under the cap and were only temporary.

The Sabres also sent down Curtis Lazar, Jean-Sebastien Dea, and Lawrence Pilut.
FROM EARLIER THIS WEEK:
The Sabres submitted their final roster and it may appear a bit surprising. They’ve sent Victor Olofsson and Henri Jokiharju down to Rochester and called up Curtis Lazar, Jean-Sebastien Dea and Lawrence Pilut.
It’s important to keep in mind that many, or most, of these moves are procedural and there’s a good chance we see these players moved around again before Thursday night’s opener.

The Sabres made 7 cuts earlier this week and only needed to make two more prior to Tuesday’s 5 p.m. EST deadline. They also put four players on the injured reserve list to make room.
