UPDATE: The Sabres had originally listed Sheary as day-to-day, but apparently his injury is more severe than that. They’re now stating that he is week-to-week.
Evan Rodrigues will be inserted into the lineup, and head coach Ralph Krueger doesn’t anticipate the Sabres calling up another forward at this time.
The Sabres announced that Conor Sheary is day-to-day with an upper-body injury sustained on Monday night in Columbus.
Sheary has been off to a nice start with three points in as many games.
This will give Evan Rodrigues a chance to make his season debut. Apparently the young forward was shocked that he was the team’s healthy scratch for the first three games.

The graphic above also gives us an update on defenseman Brandon Montour, who the Sabres say is approximately three weeks away from a return.
