Sabres call up Dea

The Sabres have called up another forward from the Amerks today. Since Evan Rodrigues was injured and will not play tonight against the Tampa Bay Lightning, Jean-Sebastien Dea has been promoted to Buffalo.

The forward has never played a game for the Sabres but has played 29 games in the NHL with the Pittsburgh Penguins and New Jersey Devils. He has five goals and two assists in over that span.

Dea has 13 points (7 goals, 6 assists) in 18 games with Rochester this season.

I founded Buffalo Hockey Central in 2008 and have poured hours and hours into this site. Luckily, we have a great team of writers and designers who have helped keep this up and running despite a ton of out-of-pocket costs. We do this because we enjoy it, and we're desperate to see the Sabres win the Cup someday, but they have to make the playoffs first.
