The former Sabre, Mikhail Grigorenko is looking to make a return to the NHL and has signed a one-year, $1.2M deal with the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Grigorenko has played the last three seasons in the KHL for CSKA Moskva. He has been just under a point-per-game player there in each of the last two years.
In 2018-19, he scored 52 points (17 goals, 35 assists) in 55 games. In 2019-20, he put up 41 points (19 goals, 22 assists) in 47 games.
Grigorenko played in parts of three seasons with Buffalo, scoring 14 points in 68 games. He had two seasons after that with the Colorado Avalanche, scoring 27 and 23 points, respectively.
Drafted in 2012 with the 12th overall pick by Buffalo, Grigorenko is looking to prove he belongs in the NHL and will get that chance next season with the Blue Jackets.
