McCabe ruled out for the season

The Sabres defense took a big blow on Saturday when it was already short-handed.

Jack McCabe went down on a play and immediately grabbed for his leg, and now, it has been confirmed that he’ll be out for quite a while:

McCabe was having one of his best seasons yet, but now won’t be able to play until next season. This is the final year of his contract as well, so we’re not sure if he’ll re-sign or hit free agency.
