After the 100+ days of back-and-forth he-said, he-said arguing, the National Hockey League and the NHL Players Association have finally agreed to and signed a new Collective Bargaining Agreement.
The deal is ten years in length, with opt-outs beginning in year nine of the deal. This will ensure uninterrupted hockey for eight more years.
With this being a very big, complicated deal, we left the dirty work up to the professionals.
