Dan Catenacci to join Amerks

The tweet says it all.

catenaccimugDan Catenacci, a 3rd-round pick in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, will make his professional debut when he suits up for the Rochester Americans.

He just completed his second season with the Owen Sound Attack of the OHL. In 134 career games with the Attack, Catenacci tallied 151 points (71 goals, 80 assists).

Catenacci joins fellow Sabres prospect Justin Kea as the second prospect this season to join the organization following the completion of their respective junior hockey seasons.

Sabres Prospects currently has Dan Catenacci rated as the organization’s fourth-best center prospect, behind Grigorenko, Girgensons and Larsson.

    good to see new players coming in hope they can get job done and get us a cup in buffalo i think we will get one there will be more to follow

    Grigorenko should go to Rochester too, but I guess he's staying up with the big club for now
