This past week saw the inevitable Thomas Vanek trade take place. In return was Matt Moulson, who was the week’s top performer with two goals and two assists in his 3 games played. Moulson seemed to have sparked the Sabres’ top line. Unfortunately for the team as a whole, another winless week has the team still at the bottom.
After five weeks of hockey, the Sabres have 5 points (2-13-1). They are 8th in the Atlantic Division and 16th in the Eastern Conference.

It's amazing how many Sabres fans stay till the end of these losses just to boo and call for Darcy Regier's firing.
