Sabres sign Brian Gionta

Another former Montreal Canadien is now a member of the Sabres. Buffalo has signed Brian Gionta to a three-year deal at $4.25 per year.

Gionta has played in 776 career games with the Devils and Canadiens, totaling 485 points.

The 35-year-old winger brings a veteran presence to the Sabres. Here are his stats:
