Sabres finalize roster

The National Hockey League’s deadline for team’s to submit their final rosters for the season was at 5 p.m. EST.

The Sabres announced the signing of Rasmus Ristolainen just a couple hours prior, and now, have finalized their roster.

Brendan Guhle did not make the team, but Derek Grant and Hudson Fasching did. The Sabres have sent Nick Baptise, Dan Catenacci, Justin Falk and Alexander Nylander to Rochester. Guhle has been sent to the WHL.

Both Ryan O’Reilly and Kyle Okposo are dealing with injuries that could very well have them miss the season opener on Thursday against Montreal.
