The Buffalo Sabres have found a replacement for J.P. Lamoureux signing goaltender David Leggio to a 1-year, 2-way contract. After a great career with Clarkson University he played last year TPS in SM Liga (Finland). He won the league title in his rookie season posting a playoff GAA of 1.58 and a save % of .942 .
The Williamsville, NY native was also the 3rd goaltender for the USA in the IIHF World Championships seeing no action. In 2007-08 Leggio played for the Florida Everblades of the ECHL leading the team to a regular season title.
