Coming off of a tough couple of games that included a 4-1 loss to the Vegas Golden Knights, and a 5-1 beating from the San Jose Sharks, there isn’t much to talk about when it comes to the Buffalo Sabres. So naturally, we look to our AHL affiliate, the Rochester Americans. As desperate fans, we are pleasantly surprised with how not only the team has done, but individuals as well.

There honestly isn’t a lineup to put together here. With all the remaining players from both Buffalo and Rochester, there are only a combined 18 points among those players. That ends up being 7 goals as a team through 7 games…
On a better note, congratulations are due to our 7th round, 2014 draft selection and Swedish gem, Victor Olofsson. He received the AHL Player of the Week award with (5 goals, 7 assists, 12 points) in just 7 games played!

This goes to show that maybe our rosters and lines could/should be realigned.
With the success in Rochester, Olofsson, Nylander, and Pilut could soon be receiving callups.
