Sabres make roster moves

The Buffalo Sabres announced some moves today ahead of Tuesday’s roster deadline of 5pm. EST.

The Sabres have placed Remi Elie, Curtis Lazar, Scott Wilson, and Casey Nelson on waivers.

Also, Buffalo has decided to send down Rasmus Asplund, Tage Thompson and Lawrence Pilut.

That means defenseman John Gilmour and Henri Jokiharju both still have a spot right now, as well as Marco Scandella. There are still some more decisions to make, but this is a big chunk of players starting at lower levels.
