Corey Tropp Set To Return to AHL

The injury-riddled Rochester Americans will get a surprise return to the lineup this evening.

Sabres prospect Corey Tropp is set to return to the Americans starting lineup following his fast recovery from an ACL and MCL  tear.

Following surgery last November, Tropp was expected to miss the rest of the season but will end up only missing four months.

Tropp made his NHL and Sabres debut last season versus Winnipeg and was a favorite, by many, to crack the Sabres opening night lineup.

If you missed the original injury, here is a video of what happened to Corey Tropp back in October.

As you can probably guess, Corey Tropp is very excited to get back on the ice and continue to move forward with his young professional hockey career.

Stay tuned to Sabres Hockey Central for the lastest on this, and all Sabres hockey news!

Awesome, happened in the home opener which was a trajedy, he probably would have been up playing for the big show had he not been hurt so it is awesome to see Tropp back in the lineup.
