Malone signs with Predators

Sean Malone is coming off a 30-point campaign with the Rochester Americans where he scored 12 goals and 18 assists in 58 games.

Now, he has signed a 1-year, two-way contract with the Nashville Predators.

Malone was drafted by the Sabres in the 6th round (159th overall) of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. He only ever appeared in 1 NHL game and that was back in the 2016-17 season.

At 25 years old, he will get a chance to prove himself with the Milwaukee Admirals and aim for a callup to the Preds.

I founded Buffalo Hockey Central in 2008 and have poured hours and hours into this site. Luckily, we have a great team of writers and designers who have helped keep this up and running despite a ton of out-of-pocket costs. We do this because we enjoy it, and we're desperate to see the Sabres win the Cup someday, but they have to make the playoffs first.
